THE CHICKEN DHANSAK

हेल्लो EVERYONE,
I RECENTLY SAW ON TV, ACTOR BOMAN IRANI TALK OF THIS IRANI DISH , HOW FONDLY HE WAS EATING IT FROM HIS DABBA AT WORK. 
AS A MATTER OF CHANCE I HAPPENED TO GO TO BANDRA  AFTER A GOOD LONG THREE YEARS I GUESS, IT WAS FIVE P.M AND MY LUNCH AND BREAKFAST WAS PENDING,SO I STEPPED INTO THIS BAKERY SHOP "CHERON'S" ON HILL ROAD. THEY OFFER CHICKEN AND MUTTON DHANSAK, BEING MY FIRST TRY, I TOOK A  CHICKEN DHANSAK PARCEL.
WHEN HOT IT TASTES GOOD. GINGER SEEMS TO BE A MAJOR COMPONENT OF IT. IT IS A TYPE OF CHICKEN GRAVY SERVED WITH THICK BROWN RICE. MUST SAY THE CUCUMBER-ONION SALAD THAT I GOT IN THE PARCEL WENT VERY WELL WITH THE DISH. A DIFFERENT CHICKEN CURRY FOR A CHANGE. PRICED DECENTLY AT RUPPEES 110/-

  2. Keep ur taste buds happy but guessing...
    You love eating so You could be a good choice for a cookery show,but you ought to try something better than "dhansak"(God knows what it means)
    and Ya dont give free publicity to "dhansak" charge some meals at least!!!!
